Peg, who lives on a fishing boat with her family, decides to leave her confines and climb Mount Everest. On her travels she meets some mountain climbers and a yeti, whom she befriends and eventually brings home to her family boat. Barbara Reid's distinctive Plasticine art illustrations are a pleasure to share with children. Together with Kenneth Oppel's imaginative storytelling, the book is a great addition to anyone's bookshelf.
