QUEBEC SCHOOLS REDISCOVER EXPO 67

The Library and Archives of Canada is embarking on a new project which features instructional material on Expo 67 available to Quebec teachers.

The project is geared to students from the third year of elementary school to the fifth year of secondary school. Its teaching objectives are taken from the Quebec Education Program: Preschool and Elementary Education (2001) and from the Secondary School Program issued by the Ministère de l'Éducation of Quebec.

By its sheer scope, Expo 67 addresses a wide range of study topics. In this respect, the project offers educators a wide variety of teaching possibilities, in their respective fields. Quebec students who might benefit from this project are not only those in elementary and secondary schools studying history and social sciences, but also those studying technology in their third year of high school and those studying natural sciences in their fifth year.
