Sheep on the western Prairies

Saunders was one of the agricultural scientist credited with developing Marquis wheat, a project that was undertaken in collaboration with the agricultural research stations at Indian Head and Brandon. He was also an amateur photographer and used his skills to document agricultural activities in western Canada. This view of grazing sheep was used in a promotional booklet published by the Natural Resources Intelligence Branch of the Department of the Interior.
