Le chaud manteau de Léo
Raymond Plante
Illustrations: Leanne Franson
Montréal : Boréal, 2006. 51 p.
(Boréal maboul, Bébert et les Doguadous; 3)
ISBN 2764604424
Ages 6 to 9

The Doguadous will be meeting as usual in spite of the first snowfall of the season. Bébert and his friends spend a marvellous day at the dog park. Léo has some problems that only his canine friends can resolve. This third and last episode featuring the Doguadous was published barely a month after the death of Raymond Plante in February 2006. It's a delightful story featuring the uniquely loveable characters this writer consistently portrayed through his long and prolific career.

Leanne Franson's illustrations are also as refreshing and delightful as the first snowfall of winter.
