Four recently retired sheep led a simple and peaceful life in their native countryside, until the day they decided to move to the city. The happy foursome was very keen about being able to enjoy the pleasures of city life. Unfortunately, despite all their efforts to integrate into their new society, the sheep did not feel accepted by humans.

One day, they came across a tattered poster advertising a singing contest. When they got to the concert hall, they were surprised to learn that it was not for sheep, but only for humans. They decided to carry on and prove to everyone that people (and also sheep) ought not be judged strictly on their appearance.

The Baabaasheep Quartet is full of humour and tenderness; it speaks to us about courage, determination and the importance of believing in our dreams. Leslie Elizabeth Watts embellishes this entertaining tale with her own stunning and expressive illustrations.
