Dossier on Michal Zatyczyo's homestead
ca. 1920s, by the Canadian National Land Settlement Association

Photographs of the Zatyczyo family (with a representative of the Canadian National Railways (CNR) nearby) and their newly-acquired home are included in this immigration dossier. The family's file has been given the number "scheme x-2228-509" (located in the lower-right corner). This was a special code developed by the CNR's immigration agents to indicate that the Zatyczyo family had a minimum of $1,000 upon their arrival in Winnipeg and were considered experienced agricultural people.
