New Guide for Internment Camps in Canada during the First and Second World Wars

Ottawa, Ontario, November 25, 2010 — Library and Archives Canada is pleased to announce the release of a new guide to its collection of documents on internment camps in Canada during both world wars (1914–1918 and 1939–1945). This guide describes the extensive collection of governmental and private records generally consisting of textual documents on paper or on microfilm as well as publications about internment camps located on Canadian soil.
