This Canada Day, view a part of Canadian history!
On your way to Parliament Hill for the Canada Day festivities, stop by Library and Archives Canada to see the original document of the Proclamation bringing into force the Constitution Act, 1982.
The Proclamation, signed on Parliament Hill on April 17, 1982, brought the Act into effect resulting in Canada’s full political independence from Britain.
