National Poetry Month
Original works of distinguished Canadian poets part of LAC's collection

April is National Poetry Month and Library and Archives Canada is pleased to be the custodian of a rich, archival collection of Canadian poetry. The entire creative process of these works is well documented in the collection.

Many of these poets, whose works enrich Canada's literary and cultural heritage, are recognized internationally. Information on the following poets is available in our special collections consultation room:
