A landscape depicting a view from Longford Castle through a mullioned window past a partially visible round tower to the River Avon. The octopartite-light window has the suggestion of a curvature. The tower, which also has a window, is crenelated with alternating embrasures with mouldings and merlons decorated with a step design on either side leading to a semi-circular element at the top over which is a cone-shaped finial. A wooden truss bridge crosses the River near to a gazebo on the opposing shore. The gazebo has a multi-partite conical roof with a finial. Beyond the gazebo is a wooded area. A small unmasted boat lies alongside the near shore.
