Scope and content

This series (formerly Series B) consists of seven sub-series, the first of which contains the Andrew E. Young Collection of Great Lakes Vessels negatives as well as other images of Canadian and American marine craft. The remaining sub-series are comprised of images of Canada and the United States, from the mid 19th century to the mid 20th century, which depict parades, views and street scenes, exterior and interior views of buildings, ships and ship building, views of locks and canals, railways and rolling stock, and various types of trucks and automobiles,etc.
