Scope and content

This map shows the southern part of the British Dominions in Canada and the north-east division of the United States. It indicates political and administrative units, the locations of townships and seigneuries and names towns and principal settlements. It also includes tables "Showing distances as travelled by the Post" and "the distance from each capital or large town to Washington and otherwise
