California is shown as an island and northern California is labeled as "Nova Albion." The northwestern portion of the United States is labeled as "Qvivira." The majority of North America is labeled as "Mexicana" while the majority of South America is labeled as "Peru." The Hudson Bay is mostly enclosed. "No. Belgeum" is shown next to Virginia and "Long Ile." is labeled in New England. However, Hudson's River is erroneously titled as "Hudsons bay". Various ships and sea monsters appear in the oceans, labeled as "The Southern Ocean" and "The North Sea." A depiction of a small native hut and two natives is shown in the region of Brazil.
