Meetings with James Bryce at Ottawa. Sir Wilfrid Laurier proposes the settlement of all details relating to the Tercentenary celebrations by an appointed Battlefields Commission. Arrangements for the visit of The Prince of Wales. Preferable if postponement of the celebrations could be arranged. Lord Grey places great importance on the presence at Québec of representatives of the self-governing Dominions and feudatory Princes of India.
