Enthusiasm for Lord Grey's Quebec proposals. Date of the Champlain Tercentenary celebrations and hope for the King's presence aboard HMY VICTORIA AND ALBERT III or the presence of the Prince and Princess of Wales. Hope for the presence of distinguished representatives from the United Kingdom, self-governing Dominions and India. Lord Grey has asked William St. John Fremantle Brodrick, Lord Midleton to call on Lord Elgin and explain his Tercentenary proposals.
