Scope and content
A riverscape depicting the waterfront along the St. Lawrence River at Québec. There are several two- and three-masted vessels with square and fore and aft rigging moored alongside two timbered wharves. Several figures sit or stand on the wharf in the foreground. In the background is the Citadel atop the promontory of Cap Daimant. There are additional buildings behind the wharves. The work was completed on two overlapped and glued sheets of paper.
