Scope and content
A riverscape depicting a view from Goat Island of Terrapin Tower and a timber walkway leading from the western end of Goat Island to a point just beyond the Tower located on the exposed rocks at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls. The circular tower has a doorway at the bottom and a doorway at the top leading onto a round gallery surrounded by a railing. There is a pathway leading from the walkway to the lower door of the tower. The walkway has a railing on either side. To the left of the tower, the water rushes past exposed rocks towards the curved Falls. In the background is the vegetation of the Canadian shore of the river.
