Scope and content
A landscape / riverscape depicting a view of buildings, split-rail fences and vegetation along the St. Lawrence River at the Cedars Rapids. The buildings have gable roofs, one having a chimney at the roof apex. There are several islands in the River. The artist has shown the rushing water passing the island at the right of the work.
