Scope and content

A riverscape depicting islands and vegetation in the Thousand Islands archipelago in the St. Lawrence River. At the left of the work is a building on a timber dock. In the foreground, birds are landing on a piece of wood with a branch protruding from the water. In the distance a vessel moves through the water.
