Scope and content
A marine scene depicting buildings and single-masted sailing vessels with sails furled alongside the shore of Lac-Saint-Louis at Lachine. At the bottom left of the composition are several exposed rocks and a wooden raft tied to one of them. Further from the shore at the right is a single-masted sailing vessel with fore and aft rigging.
