Scope and content

A riverscape depicting a view of the winding Thames River, its banks and surrounding vegetation at Richmond. The artist has framed the scene with branching vegetation at the left and right of the central feature of the River. The artist has drawn a straight edged frame around the subject within the confines of the support.
