Scope and content

The subject is a riverscape / marine scene depicting a view of the St. Lawrence River with vegetation and buildings along the shoreline. A land mass with vegetation extends into the River at the right of the work. At the left, a manned unmasted vessel with three figures is moving away from the shore.
