First printed map of present day central Canada. Depticts the ares west of Hochelaga at an early stage in its cartographic represnetation.

State of map determined based on the fact taht "The name of the island at the entrance to the inland sea is removed and that above the 280° meridian the name is spelled Higuater instead of Hignater" Burden and Kershaw.
