Scope and content
Map shows the area from Baffin Bay to the Caribbean and from the east coast of North America to the California peninsula. Rivers, settlements and political divisions are named, topography and vegetation are illustrated. Articles of the Treaty of 1763 and numerous descriptive notes such as explorer routes cover the map. The provinces and colonies are outlined by differently coloured boundary lines.
