Scope and content

Item is a fire insurance plan of Quebec city, Quebec. It is "from actual surveys, based upon the cadastral plans deposited in the office of the Department of Crown Lands" and was produced "by and under the supervision of H.W. Hopkins, Civil Engineer." Item includes three unnumbered sheets: a title page, a preface, and a table of contents. Pages are numbered 2-63. Page 2-3 shows the county of Quebec while page 6-7 shows the "Index plan of the city of Quebec and its environs". Pages 10-25 shows plates A-E. Alternate pages are blank.
