Scope and content

Item is a fire insurance plan of Montreal, Quebec. It includes the counties of Jacques Cartier and Hochelaga" and is "from actual surveys, based upon the cadastral plans deposited in the office of the Department of Crown Lands." The plan was produced "by and under the supervision of H.W. Hopkins, Civil Engineer." Item includes two unnumbered sheets: a title page and a table of contents. Pages are numbered 6-107. Page 6-7 shows the island of Montreal while page 10-11 shows the city of Montreal. Pages 14-63 shows plates A-N. Alternate pages are blank.
