Scope and content
This illustration is reproduced in Eric Koch, Deemed Suspect: A Wartime Blunder. In Spring, 1940, the British Gov't interned 30,000 refugees from Nazi Germany and Austria as 'enemy aliens'. In July 2,290 were sent to Canada. This sketch depicts their arrival at Québec.
