Biography / Administrative history

Arthur S. Goss (1881-1940), photographer. Born London, Ont. Flourished Toronto, Ont., 1883-1940. Died Toronto, Ont.

Photographer. Educator and author, Mavor was a professor of political economy at the University of Toronto. In 1898-1899, he was instrumental in assisting the emigration of the Doukhobors to Canada and, throughout his life, continued to support them following their settlement.
