Scope and content

A coat of arms of France. This image is mounted on the right of the paper, and has two coat of arms mounted to the left.
Henri Beau was an employee of the Public Archives of Canada from 1915 to 1938, being employed in the Paris office specifically to copy views, portraits, etc. and to carry out iconographic research. See Pierre Lallier, Henri Beau (Musee du Quebec, 1992).
