Scope and content

The coat of arms of Richelieu. This image is mounted on the left of the paper beside two other coat of arms.
Henri Beau was an employee of the Public Archives of Canada from 1915 to 1938, being employed in the Paris office specifically to copy views, portraits, etc. and to carry out iconographic research. See Pierre Lallier, Henri Beau (Musee du Quebec, 1992).
