Scope and content

The print depicts a three quarter length seated portrait to right. The sitter holds a closed book in one hand, the other rests on a table. On the wall to the right can be seen a painting and on the left, books on a shelf.
Dec. 1975 - the print consists of 2 sheets; a small one bearing the image is laid down and a larger sheet bearing the inscriptions. The print is foxed and discoloured; there are tears u.c. and u.l. and a lose l.c. There is a pinhole in each corner.
