Sir William Osler (1849-1919), born at Bond Head, died in England. A physician, writer, educator; contributor in a wide range of clinical fields. Educated at University of Toronto and McGill. Taught at University of Pennsylvania, and Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, and Oxford University in England. Created a baronet in 1911.
