The print depicts a near half length portrait with head to the left. The sitter wears a monocle. To the l.r. of the portrait is a small drawing showing a man in a mountaineering outfit. The name of the sitter is in question.
Dec. 1975 - the print is soiled and discoloured and the edges are worn.

Inscription: Inscribed recto: l.c. "adrien Nargeot sc1t // adrien Nargeot" the first line is the engraver's signature in the plate, the second line is the artist's signature in the plate, in pencil; l.l. "A. DAUDET" in the plate (possibly the name of the sitter).
