Scope and content

View of the town of Pau, which is the capital of the French province of Pyrénées-Atlantiques. According to the dates on the identifiable French watercolours, Falkland was in France during 1839 and 1840, before she went to Nova Scotia some time in 1840 (1990-207-79X, -80X, -82X, and -83X).
See 1990-207-48X or -49X about Mrs. Wyatt, possibly a companion of Lady Falkland's during her trip to France.
