Scope and content

Watercolour of a country village, probably English. The view shows houses with thatched roofs and leaded glass windows, and a church tower in the background. It is similar to 1990-207-12X, which was attributed by Lady Falkland to Lady De L'Isle (Sophia), her eldest sister.
Sophia married Philip Charles Sidney, who was created Baron De L'Isle and Dudley in 1835.
