Scope and content

Watercolour sketch of two women standing in front of a row of beach houses. The wind is blowing their skirts out to show their legs. There are sailing ships in the background. Cary was a younger brother of Lady Falkland's husband. He succeeded as Viscount on Lord Falkland's death in 1871.
Cary also executed 1990-207-20X and -45X.
