Scope and content
A view of Wolfe's Cove, a recess on the north shore of the St. Lawrence, about a mile upstream from the Quebec Citadel. According to her entry in her diary, Ellice visited Wolfe's Cove with her sister, Tina, on June 13, 1838 (Canada: Oberon, 1975. p.38).
Pencil inscription on verso written in different hand, at a later date.
Watercolour removed from album. This work was originally glued to the verso of folio 2 so that the mount, which was cut, formed a frame around the support. Watercolour now loose.
