Scope and content

Botanical study of the Dendrobium, including flowers and root. Lady Falkland stayed in the Mahabaleshwur hills during the hot season, when her husband was the governor of Bombay (1848-53). The handwriting of the poem does not seem to be hers, although the rest of the inscriription is.
