Scope and content

Watercolour sketch of a Toontuna, which Lady Falkland saw on her travels in India, when her husband was governor of Bombay (1848-53). Lady Falkland mentions the Waee valley in Chow-Chow, the book she wrote about her eastern travels. (1857. London: Hurst and Blackett, vol 1, chapter IX.)
