Scope and content

This image shows multiple scenes of children engaged in winter activities such as tobogganing, snow-shoeing, and children dressed in striped [HBC ?] coats holding shovels and sleigh cords. The centre image is a girl's head wearing a bonnet. This scene is part of a Supplement to the Montreal Daily Star - Carnival Number, which is a large sheet folded twice; the recto depicts: 1) The Night Attack upon the Ice Castle - defence by the Garrison; the verso: t.: 2) On the Road - Montréal Tandem Club Turn out; and b.: 3) Young Canada.
