Scope and content
An interior view of the bedroom of the priest's house occupied by Katherine Jane Ellice, while the seigneury at Beauharnois was under attack by rebels, November 4 - 10, 1838.
Watercolour removed from album. This work was originally glued to a secondary support. The album page, folio 23, was cut to frame the image that was glued to its verso. Original mount attached separately.
