a watercolour showing a group of Indian chiefs who may be depicted at Bois Blanc Island near Amherstburg, Ontario
This work was at first attributed to Joshua Jebb, as it bears his stamp, however it is by an unknown artist.
There is a colour transparency of both the recto (C-114384) and of the inscription on the verso (C-114375)
Jebb was stationed at Fort Wellington from 1813 and left Canada in 1820.
