Biography / Administrative history

The Bella Coola Agency, with headquarters located in Bella Coola, BC, was created from the division of the North West Coast Agency into the Bella Coola, Nass, and Queen Charlotte agencies in December, 1909. In 1971 the Bella Coola Agency became the Bella Coola District and was later amalgamated with the Vancouver District office on 15 July 1977.
