Wreckage of equipment and Canadian soldiers taken prisoner by German forces, Dieppe, France, 19 August 1942; Kodachrome transparencies by Ken Bell of personnel and activities of the Canadian Army, Ottawa, Ont. and in the Yoho Valley, B.C., 1943; operational activity and personnel of the Canadian Army, as well as French, Belgium, and Dutch civilians, during the Allied campaign in Northwest Europe, 1944-1945 (copy negatives of DND originals), and photos in the same locations taken five years later by Ken Bell, used in his book Curtain Call (1953).

1944-1945 material consists of copy negs from DND Army originals in NPC Acc. No. 1967-052.
