Scope and content
Series consists of a diary kept by Jane Ellice, wife of Edward Ellice, during her husband's service in Canada as secretary to Lord Durham. A transcript and a negative photostat copy exists. Available on microfilm reel C-4648.
The original document is kept in volume 50, which is not available to researchers. They must consult the microfilm version, or the photocopy and transcript available in volume 53.
